The six routes feature 30 major red tourism scenic spots in Shenzhen and each route has a unique theme, namely, "Reform and Opening Up in the New Era," "The Story of Spring," "Revolutionary Days of Dongjiang Guerrilla Column," "Original Aspirations," "Emancipating the Mind and Standing Up to the Tide," and "Red Footprint."

This route links Qianhai Stone Park, the Qianhai International Conference Center, the Shenzhen Reform and Opening-up Exhibition Hall, Lianhua Hill Park (a hand-planted tree by General Secretary Xi Jinping), and the Party and Mass Service Center of North Railway Station Community.

Each spot is a place where General Secretary Xi Jinping has visited, focusing on Shenzhen's new look in the reform and opening up in the new era.

Qianhai Stone Park, as a first-class green space in the public area of Qianhai, is one of the most important public open spaces in Qianhai. It is being built into an open urban park that integrates recreational, cultural, landscape, artistic, and ecological functions.

The coastal park is famous for its huge yellow wax stone, Qianhai Stone, which has the word “Qianhai” engraved on it.

President Xi Jinping stood before the huge landmark in Qianhai on Dec. 7, 2012, sending a message calling for further reform and opening up.
