On June 1, the Shenzhen Longgang District People’s Court and the Dapeng Sub-bureau of Shenzhen Municipal Ecological Environment Bureau together with Shenzhen University signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on Building a Research Base for Environment Legal System, which is the first of its kind in Shenzhen.
The research base is established on the basis of the people’s court’s judicial expertise, the ecological legal reform from the ecological environment bureau, and the research advantages of Shenzhen University.
The research base aims to deepen the education and teaching reform of law and environmental resources-related majors in higher education institutions, improve the capacity of environmental resources trials, enhance environmental administrative law enforcement, and establish the organic combination of environmental law theory and practice.
The three parties will collaborate with one another in terms of law enforcement, legal research and practice as well as exchanges in judicial innovation.
