Baguang Core Area of the International Bio-Valley has a planned area of 9.46 square kilometers, with the total land area of 5.68 square kilometers and total floor area of 5.56 million square meters.

Baguang Core Area provides a function layout ranging from industrial community, marine life park, gene valley to colleges and coastal leisure belt and will be built into an S&T eco-town integrating scientific research, incubation, education, health service and coastal leisure.
