Daepng New District Bioscience Industrial Park of the International Bio-Valley
Located in Kuichong, Dapeng New District, this transformed industrial park serves as the incubator and pilot zone for Baguang Core Area of the International Bio-Valley. It specializes in attracting high-tech enterprises and institutions in life sciences, biotechnology, healthcare, and medical fields.
The park functions as a biotech innovation hub combining corporate HQs, R&D incubation, and technical or public services. It accelerates the application of National Gene Bank resources and sets benchmarks for life sciences development while cultivating premium projects for future Baguang expansion.
It covers 168,000 square meters with the floor area of 255,000 square meters.
After comprehensive upgrades, the park now hosts more than 80 biopharmaceutical companies and research institutes.
International Bioindustry Valley Marine Bioindustry Park
Established in October 2009, the International Bioindustry Valley Marine Bioindustry Park is one of China's first national biological industry bases approved by the National Development and Reform Commission. The park serves dual functions as both a "Startup Park for Returned Overseas Students" and a "Postdoctoral Innovation Practice Base." Strategically located adjacent to the pristine Daya Bay and Dapeng Bay, it offers convenient transportation and comprehensive supporting facilities.
Spanning a planned area of 205,000 square meters with a construction area of 430,000 square meters, this marine-themed innovation hub integrates R&D, incubation, and industrial production. It aims to establish a comprehensive marine industry system focused on marine biotechnology, supported by marine intelligent equipment, marine technology services, and marine ecological protection. Currently, Phases I and II have been completed, with Phase III development well underway. The park comprises 34 factory buildings and dormitories covering approximately 70,000 square meters, with a total built-up area of 94,000 square meters. Notable facilities include a 20,000-square-meter coastal pilot-scale research base and a 2,000-square-meter public service platform equipped with high-precision instruments.
Baguang Biological Garden
Located at Baguang Core Area of the International Bio-Valley, Baguang Biological Garden offers comprehensive facilities including: R&D laboratories, public technical service platforms, park management center, exhibition and conference centers, specialized library and commercial supporting facilities.
The Bio-Home complex features a distinctive polygonal architectural design for each building, creating a harmonious mountain-to-sea green axis that runs through the entire project. Inspired by ecological principles, the garden-style campus resembles a "breathing cell" along Baguang Bay, blending sustainability with cutting-edge design.
The project meets China's 2-Star Green Building standards and features specialized infrastructure including: dual-circuit power supply system, backup generator facilities, steam supply rooms, purified water stations, dedicated bio-industrial wastewater treatment and centralized medical gas supply pipelines.
This state-of-the-art facility provides an ideal ecosystem for biotech innovation and commercialization.
