In the coolness of November, Shenzhen's Daya Bay in Dapeng New District was filled with the masts of hundreds of competing boats. Competition at the 13th China Cup International Regatta was intense. More than 1,100 sailors from 32 countries and regions experienced this extraordinary journey of honor and dreams in Shenzhen.

The China Cup International Regatta is a significant, top-level international event in Shenzhen and also one of the sports events on the Shenzhen City Culture Menu. In addition to the marine events, activities at the event village were also in full swing. Traditional Chinese boat tours, the China Cup exhibition, Marine Library, environmental protection knowledge sharing meeting, fishing net regeneration interaction and other activities were held to form the Haishang Carnival (Seaside Carnival) in Shenzhen.
