The main structure of Xinda Station, the terminal station of the Dapeng Branch Line on the Shenzhen-Huizhou Intercity Railway, has recently officially topped off construction.

The Dapeng Branch Line starts from Longcheng Station in Longgang District and ends at Xinda Station in Dapeng New District, passing through Longgang District, Pingshan District and Dapeng New District. Xinda Station is located on the north side of Xinda East Road in the Xinda Community, Dapeng New District.

With a total length of 39.387 kilometers, the Dapeng Branch Line runs underground, and is a major municipal construction project and an important part of the intercity railroad network plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Once put into operation, the Dapeng Branch Line will serve the needs for intercity transportation, intracity passenger commuting and Shenzhen’s eastern tourism express.
