LEGOLAND Shenzhen Resort’s three new themed hotels have been gradually unveiling their first look, as the main body of hotel buildings has started to take shape, sznews.com reported.
It will become the world’s largest LEGOLAND resort upon completion in 2024, its parent company Merlin Entertainments announced in August 2021 when the construction work began.
During a recent field investigation, Siegfried Boerst, general manager of the resort, was briefed about the project construction, water supply, power supply and other projects around the resort by relevant departments in Dapeng New District.
The departments also responded to the problems about the parking lot, the sewage pipe network construction and traffic signs.
A world-class brand tourism project, the resort is the first international project in Shenzhen’s cultural and tourism industry, covering an area of about 580,000 square meters.
The resort will have one theme park, one water park and three themed hotels. The Dapeng New District government attached great importance to the construction of the resort and supporting projects and has built 20 infrastructure projects with high standards in the surrounding areas, guaranteeing the resort’s smooth opening.
