Dapeng New District has signed a cooperation framework agreement with Skyworth Group Co. Ltd., a Shenzhen-headquartered Chinese TV giant, at a ceremony held in Dapeng on Sept. 15.

Leaders attending the event included Liu Guangyang, deputy Party chief of the Party Work Committee of Dapeng New District and director of the Dapeng New District Management Committee, Shi Chi, executive director of Skyworth Group, and Sun Xiaojie and Wu Bo, officials from Dapeng New District Government.

According to the agreement, Dapeng New District and Skyworth Group will carry out all-round cooperation in the fields of data-driven science and technology research and the translation of scientific results.

Based on Dapeng’s medical and health big data, the two parties will work together to build a number of projects including R&D centers, training bases, key laboratories and demonstration bases, in a bid to further strengthen Dapeng’s advantages in biomedicine, life health, life science and technology.

Dapeng will leverage its location advantage and abundant mountain and sea resources, while Skyworth will give full play to its advantages in technology, talents, capital and management, so as to advance the promotion of scientific research in the biomedicine industry and to achieve mutual benefits for all involved.
