The Dapeng section has recently been selected as one of the 10 most beautiful national and provincial trunk highways in Guangdong Province in 2021. 

The road section, which has also been designated as a demonstration road for “safe highway,” is the starting point of the provincial highway S359 and runs along the coast in Dapeng New District. 

Surrounded by the sea on three sides, the section boasts complete traffic facilities and has 35 bridges, four tunnels and 147 side slopes.
