By building a grassroots international volunteer service system, the Dapeng Subdistrict Office took the lead in building an international volunteer team, and established an international volunteer talent pool which has become the Shenzhen's first community international volunteer growth center where international volunteers are provided with a stage to fully display their talents. 

Relying on the talent environment, cultural resources and development characteristics of the jurisdiction, the Dapeng Subdistrict Office carries out various cultural activities, invites families of international talents to participate in local characteristic cultural activities such as community neighborhood festival, Dapeng intangible cultural heritage experience, etc., to showcase the traditional Chinese culture while learning from internationals, which helps draw the Chinese and international residents closer.
