Dongshan Temple was built in, the 27th year of the reign of Emperor Hongwu of the Ming Dynasty (i.e., AD 1394). As a famous temple in south of the Five Ridges, it features elegant and beautiful scenery and attracts a large number of pilgrims. There are pagodas and other cultural relics on the west side of the temple.
