With a total area of about 330,000 square meters, Jiaochangwei Coastal Resort Area has been the most popular tourist area in Dapeng New District for many years. It is often called the "Gulangyu of Shenzhen". Its first B&B was opened in 2008. Till now, it is home to more than 300 B&Bs with around 500 buildings of various styles, which provide 4,000 beds for tourists and annually receive approximately 900,000 tourists. Additionally, it has been awarded the title of "Most Popular B&B Cluster" by Guangdong B&B Development Research Institute for three consecutive years, from 2020 to 2022.
