Five quality projects in industries including life health, marine pharmacology, biological environmental protection and artificial intelligence (AI) staged a roadshow held at the Shenzhen International Bio-Valley in Baguang, Dapeng New District on May 18.

A total of 150 representatives from related industries and enterprises as well as representatives from 20 investment institutions attended the event, which was jointly held by the Shenzhen Leading Group Office of the Shenzhen Talent Work, Management Committee of Dapeng New District and Shenzhen Capital Group Co. Ltd.

Feng Jianjun, deputy head of the Technological Innovation and Economic Service Bureau of Dapeng New District, said in a speech that Dapeng welcomes elites from various industries to invest in Dapeng and share opportunities for development.

The Technological Innovation and Economic Service Bureau also extended invitations to companies and guests to visit Baguang and do business there. The bureau promised to provide high-quality services to investors.

After that, five projects in such fields as underwater intelligent equipment, marine pharmacology and biotechnology were showcased.

A staffer with the Technological Innovation and Economic Service Bureau said that this roadshow served as a wonderful communications platform for entrepreneurial teams and investment institutions. To be more specific, the event helped investment institutions select high-quality projects and teams, and also helped to solve difficulties in early stage financing for entrepreneurial teams.
