“I was enchanted by the beautiful natural landscape of Dapeng. So I decided to set up my factory here. I believe it’s destiny brought me to Dapeng. I hope for a bright future for both of us,” Gao Qing, general manager of Shenzhen Jingfeng Crystal Tehnology Co. Ltd.

Jingfeng established an R&D center in 1991 and registered the company in 1994. “The company was founded by my parents from scratch,” said Gao, whose father was a technical expert. Jingfeng, a high-tech enterprise specializing in the research, development, production and sales of quartz crystals for electronic components. Crystal products are tiny, but crucial components on a circuit board.

When Gao graduated from Cardiff University in the U.K. in 2000, she entered Jingfeng, and started from a worker engaging in wrapping products. “For one thing, my father’s aspiration to support the country’s development through manufacturing has a profound influence on me. For another thing, I feel the responsibility to carry on with the operation of the company,” she said.

According to Gao, Jingfeng has established partnerships with many Japan enterprises. “The first made-in-China quartz electronics component used in a Japan company was our product,” Gao said.

From 2000 to 2003, Jingfeng spent two and a half years on applying for lab accreditations from home and abroad on product reliability. “Proving the quality of their products, the overseas clients started to place orders,” Gao said. “It was tough, but we were proud we did it.”

Now, Jingfeng has 23 State-level invention patents and utility model patents. The products have sold to over 20 countries and regions in Asia, Europe and America.

In 2007, to increase production capability, Jingfeng moved its factory to Dapeng.

“Over the years, Dapeng has provided much support for us, in talent acquisition, housing and other aspects.” Gao said.
