Functions of the organization:

1. Responsible for coordinating the development of the key areas in Dapeng New District with the concept of city-industry integration, setting up planning systems for the key areas, carrying out research on major development strategies and policy improvements of the key areas, and drawing up annual construction and development plans. (The key areas include Baguang, Xinda-Longqiwan areas and newly listed key areas to be designated in the future.)

2. Responsible for studying the schedules for land development and construction in the key areas, assisting related departments in formulating land transfer plans and putting forward suggestions regarding land supply.

3. Working together with land planning departments to study urban planning and adjustments of statutory plans of the key areas and undertake other related work.

4. Responsible for coordinating projects of the key areas, planning construction schedules in a rational way, and tracking project progress to oversee the implementation.

5. Responsible for external publicity, cooperation and communication work of the key areas.

6. Carrying out evaluation work in the key areas, and contacting the municipal development and reform commission and municipal headquarters of the key areas.

7. Responsible for the daily management of Baguang Exhibition Hall.

8. To follow and implement tasks assigned by the headquarters of key areas.

9. To complete other work assigned by the Party Work Committee and Management Committee of Dapeng New District and superior departments.

Departments:

1. General Office

Responsible for the daily operation of the department such as managing message systems, meeting affairs, confidential work, archives and supervision; undertaking the work of information, research, comprehensive manuscript drafting, security, confidentiality, making government affairs public and internal audits; undertaking the work of finance, asset management and logistic support; undertaking the work of the Party and mass, cadres and personnel, institutional staffing, labor and wages, performance assessment, education and training, and retired personnel services; undertaking the daily operation of Baguang Exhibition Hall; and undertaking the publicity work of key areas.

2. Coordination and Planning Department

Responsible for carrying out assessment of indicators in key areas and communicating with the municipal development and reform commission and the headquarters of key areas in the city; following up the implementation of the work deployed by the headquarters of key areas in the city and undertaking the specific work of the headquarters; drawing up annual construction and development plans for the key areas; organizing major coordination meetings such as meetings of the headquarters and meetings of the headquarters offices; and undertaking external cooperation and exchange work for the key areas.

3. Department of Area Planning

Responsible for coordinating the development of the key areas in Dapeng New District with the concept of city-industry integration, setting up planning systems for the key areas, and carrying out research on major development strategies and policy improvements of the key areas; studying the schedules for land development and construction in the key areas, and assisting the land planning department in formulating land transfer plans; and working together with the land planning department to study urban planning and adjustments of statutory plans of the key areas, and undertake other related work.

4. Construction Coordination Department

Responsible for carrying out the coordination of project construction in the key areas, arranging construction timetables scientifically, regularly tracking and collecting project information, supervising project progress, and promoting the implementation of projects.
