Main duties:

1. Coordinate the political and legal affairs, guide and promote the Party building within the political and legal system and the development of political and legal teams, and oversee the development of social work professionals.

2. Support and supervise the exercise of lawful authority by all units within the political and legal system, and inspect their adherence to the Party’s guidelines and policies, major decisions and arrangements of the Party Central Committee, as well as laws and regulations.

3. Coordinate and oversee the drafting, research, deliberation, review, standardization, and archiving of regulatory documents.

4. Coordinate and guide grassroots judicial administration, mediation, legal aid, community correction, basic legal services, and assistance and resettlement work.

5. Implement the guidelines, policies, decisions, and arrangements of the Party Central Committee, as well as provincial and municipal committees concerning petition work. In accordance with the work requirements of the New District Party Working Committee, guide, coordinate, and supervise petition-related work.

6. Coordinate and manage community grid management, population, and housing comprehensive administration.
