Main duties:

1. Plan, supervise and coordinate the work of the Labor Union, the Communist Youth League, and the Women’s Federation of Dapeng New District; and organize the drafting of work policies for the New District’s mass organizations including the Labor Union, the Communist Youth League, and the Women’s Federation.

2. Improve the construction of mass organizations in the New District according to laws and regulations.

3. Organize and guide the work of the mass organizations in the New District and their members.

4. Participate in the management of social affairs on behalf of the mass organizations in the New District, and participate in the formulation of laws, rules and regulations on mass organizations.

5. Provide consultancy to workers, teenagers and women in the New District; and coordinate and guide the work for the personal development of workers, teenagers and women in the New District.

6. Protect the legitimate rights of workers, teenagers, women and children according to the law.

7. Build up activity venues for the mass organizations in the New District.

8. Be responsible for the external liaison for the New District’s Labor Union, Communist Youth League and Women’s Federation.

9. Implement policies and arrangements for talent-related work; and be responsible for talent-related work within the system and the construction of a talents’ team.

10. Undertake other tasks as may be assigned by the Party Work Committee, the Management Committee and other higher authorities.
