Nearly 30 delegates from Spain spanning sectors such as cultural tourism, investment, education, and technology, visited Dapeng New District with an aim to explore opportunities for business collaboration July 7.

During their visit, significant discussions took place between the Dapeng New District Tourism Development and Cultural Sports Bureau and Puente China, a professional service company in the M&A (mergers and acquisitions) field. They will ink a letter of collaboration, promoting cooperation in the field of cultural sports such as padel, a racket sport that combines tennis and squash.
Among the delegates were representatives from notable enterprises such as the organizers of the Mobile World Congress, Aleu Medical, and Enrique Tomas Iberian Ham Corporate. The delegation was organized by the Shenzhen Association of Industry and Commerce in Spain (AICSE).
The delegation paid a visit to some iconic landmarks such as Dapeng Fortress and the B&Bs at Shell Bay. Their journey proceeded with a scenic cruise from Nan’ao to Yantian, offering them the area's stunning coastal views. They also tried local intangible cultural delicacies.
Officials from the Dapeng New District previously visited Spain from May 29 to June 1, fostering collaborations with the Shenzhen Association of Industry and Commerce in Barcelona. This exchange culminated in a reciprocal visit from the Spanish delegation to Dapeng, underscoring the district's commitment to global expansion, technology innovation, and cultural tourism enhancement.
The visit by the Spanish delegates enhanced international cooperation and communication channels, and fortified the amicable ties between Spain and Shenzhen.
