The Qiniang Mountain Tourism Hiking Festival will be held on Oct. 27, encouraging visitors to explore the mountain.
The festival, initiated by the Nan’ao Subdistrict Office in 2020, has been well-received by hiking enthusiasts.
This year’s event will start at Shanghenggang Village in the Xinda Community of Nan’ao Subdistrict and conclude at the main peak observation platform of Qiniang Mountain.

According to a previous report, city authorities plan to reinstate Dapeng Mountain as the official name of Qiniang Mountain on the Dapeng Peninsula in eastern Shenzhen while retaining Qiniang Mountain as an alias.
The mountain, which stands at 867.4 meters, is the second-highest peak in the city and has become a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts pursuing activities like hiking. It is also home to the Shenzhen Astronomical Observatory.
