Dapeng New District organized 21 enterprises and scientific research institutes to participate in the 26th China Hi-Tech Fair, showcasing more than 50 cutting-edge high-tech achievements and products at the Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center in Bao’an District between Nov. 14 and 16.

The Dapeng pavilion was divided into five sections: marine industry and low-altitude economy, healthcare, biological medicine, clean energy, and tourism.

The featured products included self-developed food items such as ice cream and chickpeas, a subsea robot sampler brought by Anhua Ocean, electric surfboards and wearable underwater scooters from Waydoo, as well as a fixed-wing drone from Shenzhen Flamingo Aviation Technology Co. Ltd.

“One of the highlights is the area dedicated to the low-altitude economy,” said Gu Xiting, an official from the Dapeng New District Technology, Industry and Information Bureau.

“We hope that more people and institutions will gain a well-rounded understanding of Dapeng. Not only does Dapeng boast rich tourism resources, but it also focuses on industrial development. Therefore, we hope that more entrepreneurs will come to Dapeng and make their investments,” Gu said.

Shenzhen Flamingo Aviation Technology Co. Ltd. is a company dedicated to researching, producing, and selling unmanned aerial vehicles for industrial use. Its products cover a wide range of application scenarios, including emergency rescue, territorial mapping, and pipeline inspection.

 The small fixed-wing UAVs: the VF13E. 

Their products include various types of UAVs, such as fixed-wing and multi-rotor drones. They brought one of their small fixed-wing UAVs — the VF13E — to the fair.

According to Alec Wang, the company’s chairman, the company was established in Dapeng in 2023. “Dapeng offers rich application scenarios, providing a favorable environment for UAV companies,” said Wang.

The mini aquarium at the pavilion has attracted the audience's attention. The booth, jointly set up by the Shenzhen Institute of Guangdong Ocean University and its incubation company, CHK Aquarium, features tanks with corals and fish, creating a complete ecosystem where they coexist harmoniously. The company provides various solutions to improve the living conditions of marine animals, especially for aquariums.

“The reason we brought the tanks here is to raise the audience's awareness of protecting the natural environment,” said Cai Jia, vice president of the Shenzhen Institute of Guangdong Ocean University, in an interview with Shenzhen Daily.

“The increasing amount of carbon dioxide entering seawater raises the acidity level, putting marine life at risk,” Cai explained. “So, we would like to show the audience that only by protecting the ecological environment can we create favorable conditions for marine life.”
