Dapeng New District has recently rolled out a series of measures to boost tourism consumption, featuring 17 specific actions across four key areas to enhance the diversity of tourism offerings.

A standout provision is the substantial support for travel agencies to attract and guide tourists, particularly incentivizing them to organize overnight stays for inbound group travelers, with subsidies reaching up to 700,000 yuan (US$95,841).

The measures clearly outline subsidies for travel agencies that organize group tourists to stay overnight in the new area. Agencies with an annual overnight volume exceeding 5,000 person-times will receive up to 30 yuan per person per night, with a maximum total subsidy of 200,000 yuan. Additionally, agencies renting operational premises in Dapeng and generating annual revenues of over 30 million yuan will be eligible for a maximum rental subsidy of 500,000 yuan per agency.

In addition to encouraging travel agencies to attract tourists, the measures also target key tourism sectors such as scenic area and industrial park development, wedding photography, outdoor sports, and new consumption scenarios, offering 15 major policy incentives.

For hosting national or international-level large-scale sports events in Dapeng, organizing entities can receive a one-time subsidy of up to 3 million yuan, covering no more than 50% of the total event costs. This subsidy is subject to evaluation by relevant departments based on factors such as event category, level, scale, influence, and actual investment.
