The 2025 Dapeng Bay Laboratory Chrysanthemum Exhibition is now open to the public at the Agricultural Genomics Institute at Shenzhen, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences in Dapeng New District and will run until Dec. 14.

The vibrant display featuring over 400 varieties transforms the research base into a floral paradise. At the foot of the Paiya Mountain, 200,000 chrysanthemums have quietly burst into bloom.

Step into the exhibition area, and you enter a poetic escape reminiscent of the idyllic scenes described by ancient poet Tao Yuanming. More than 400 varieties of chrysanthemums sway gently in the breeze, each showcasing its unique charm. Petals layer upon petals in pure white like snow, deep reddish-purple like sunset clouds, and bright yellow shining like gold.

Adding to the scenery, sunflowers and rice paddies create a picturesque harmony. The golden sea of flowers weaves into a living painting, with every turn offering a romantic autumn surprise. Each snapshot captures a frame filled with poetic beauty.
