The Shenzhen Global Investment Conference opened Dec. 5 at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center, with Dapeng New District seizing the spotlight by inking agreements for four key projects at the main venue. The signings drew significant attention from renowned domestic and international entrepreneurs and investors. Furthermore, the district co-hosted a marine economy thematic investment session with the city’s marine development bureau and Yantian District, highlighting Dapeng's premium marine resources, industrial ecosystem, and investment opportunities.

At the conference's main venue, Dapeng New District signed agreements with leading companies including China FAW Group, Hong Kong Bauhinia Culture, Singapore's The Ascott Ltd., and Guangzhou Wanme Network Technology. These achievements underscore Dapeng's economic dynamism, innovative drive, industrial strength, and investment potential.
The signed projects are:
1.China FAW Flying Car Headquarters Project: FAW will establish its flying car headquarters at the Baguang Yinye Bay Eco-Science Innovation City. The project focuses on the R&D, production, and market expansion of flying vehicles, aiming to explore policy innovation, technological breakthroughs, and mass production in this emerging field to build a comprehensive ecosystem and global headquarters for flying cars. Notably, this project was the only on-site signing from Shenzhen at the 2025 Greater Bay Area Investment Conference in November.
2.Bauhinia Culture Dapeng Peninsula Cultural Tourism Project: Located in the Huanlongqi Bay Happy & Vitality Coastal Area, this project involves developing an integrated resort hotel combining coastal leisure with cultural exchanges between Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao. It will also introduce professional cinema resources to participate in the construction and operation of cultural facilities in the district, creating a model destination that blends cultural exchange and leisure tourism in the Greater Bay Area.
3.The Ascott Ltd. Dapeng Hotel Project: Also situated in the Huanlongqi Bay area, Singapore's Ascott will develop a boutique resort hotel. Drawing inspiration from surrounding attractions like the Legoland Park, Xinda Hetang Wetland Park, and the Dapeng Peninsula National Geological Nature Park, the hotel will follow a "forest within architecture, gardens within the structure" design philosophy to create a low-density, aesthetically serene retreat.
4.Guangzhou Wanme Network & Shenzhen Meisu High-End Resort Chain Project: This collaboration will develop a high-end vacation accommodation chain in the Huanlongqi Bay and Shuitousha-Haibei Bay Fashion Sports Town areas. The project aims to create trendy hubs and vacation communities featuring clusters of premium boutique homestays, thematic dining, marine sports, and photography services.
The successful conclusion of the 2025 Shenzhen Global Investment Conference further bolsters the "Invest in Shenzhen" brand and enhances the city's image as a top global investment destination. Capitalizing on this momentum, Dapeng New District has scheduled a series of "Investment Promotion Month" events. These events will comprehensively showcase Dapeng's premium industrial resources and vast investment opportunities in tourism, marine economy, low-altitude economy, biopharmaceuticals & health, and clean energy.
