Once-aging street walls have been redesigned with colorful pet imagery, coastal-inspired artwork and interactive elements, including depictions of surfing dogs that reflect the area’s beach culture. Organizers have encouraged public participation through online pet photo submissions and on-site co-creation areas, allowing local residents and visitors to contribute to the artwork.

The mural corridor has since become a popular destination for walking and photography, integrating seamlessly with nearby shops and cafés. Related social media posts have gained traction, helping to revitalize the neighborhood and inject new momentum into community-based tourism development.

Local officials say the project demonstrates how small-scale urban renewal and creative design can enhance coastal tourism while fostering stronger ties between visitors and the local community.
