Dapeng New District transferred a parcel of industrial land located south of Pengchuang Road in Dapeng Subdistrict to an internationally renowned rice brand, Mengzhalong IP holder, on Jan. 7. This marked the official launch of the Dapeng Modern Rice and Health Industry Project, representing a new breakthrough in the district’s investment promotion efforts in 2026.

The project plans to establish a modern rice industry headquarters base integrating breeding research, new product development, intelligent processing and distribution, supply chain management, digital marketing, cultural tourism experiences, and headquarters operations. It aims to build a complete industrial ecosystem “from field to table.”

Furthermore, the project will closely align with the planning and development of the Shenzhen Dapeng Peninsula Tourism Resort. It will highlight the features of a composite “industry + technology” factory, incorporate immersive cultural experiences, and promote the deep integration of technology with cultural tourism and other sectors. Upon completion, it will significantly enhance the district’s industry-academia-research collaboration in the bio-health sector, foster coordinated development across primary, secondary, and tertiary industries, and provide robust support for building a more resilient and competitive modern industrial system in the district.
