Kuichong East, a commercial zone in Dapeng, has completed a wave of new retail and dining additions through property renovations and targeted recruitment of premium brands. On April 22, Fmart opened a nearly 10,000-square-meter store at No. 15 Kuimin Road, a prime location on Kuichong East Commercial Street. The supermarket offers residents a new high-quality shopping experience.

Other popular food brands such as KFC and Luckin Coffee have also opened shops in the area, enabling residents to quickly access weekday meals, afternoon tea, or casual weekend gatherings. Retail offerings now include fashion apparel and other lifestyle services, providing more options for shopping and leisure.

Alongside the introduction of national brands, the district is also supporting local startups and young entrepreneurs. Several homegrown outlets have emerged in Kuichong East, including specialty businesses offering coconut-flavor bread-baked chicken, coffee, and baked goods. These small, creative, community-based shops add local character and youthful energy, complementing the national chains and fostering a diverse and welcoming business ecosystem.
