A temporary passenger ferry service between Yantian and Dapeng’s Nan’ao will launch on May 1, providing a scenic 60-minute alternative to holiday road traffic for visitors heading to Shenzhen’s eastern coastal hotspots. The service will run from May 1 through May 3 during the Labor Day holiday period.

The route links Yantian Golden Coast Wharf (盐田金色海岸码头) with Nan’ao Shuangyong Wharf (南澳双拥码头).

Departures are scheduled once daily, with one sailing in each direction:

Yantian → Nan’ao: 10 a.m.

Nan’ao → Yantian: 11:30 a.m.

Tickets are limited and subject to weather conditions; advance booking is recommended via the “Peng Xing Hui (鹏星会)” mini program.

To get to the wharf from Yantian, take the Metro Line 2 or 8 to Yantianxu (盐田墟) Station (Exit B), then walk about 10 minutes to the wharf; For the return trip from Nan’ao, take a local bus to Nan’ao Center Station (南澳中心站), followed by a short walk to the Nan'ao wharf.
