Construction has begun on Jiangwushan Park, a new municipal park in Dapeng designed to combine ecological conservation, outdoor recreation, science education and forest protection.

Located in the core planning area of Baguang and adjacent to Shenzhen Ocean University, the 32.67-hectare park sits between Huanba Road and Paiyashan Road, overlooking Baguang Bay. Surrounded by mountains and the sea, the project will connect the Paiya Mountain range with the Baguang Bay ecological corridor, creating a signature urban green space.

The park will cater to a wide range of visitors, including nearby residents, university students and outdoor enthusiasts. It will also support Dapeng’s growing outdoor tourism sector by providing spaces for leisure, sports and nature-based learning.

Built around a “park recreation plus forestry science” model, Jiangwushan Park will include a professional forestry research station focused on ecological monitoring and conservation. The facility will support research on forest ecosystems, rare wild plant protection and biodiversity observation.

The park will also feature nature education facilities, including a forest observation platform, a specimen exhibition hall and demonstration areas for landscape forest cultivation and conservation techniques.
