SZ expands unmanned delivery network with new routes in Dapeng
From:Shenzhen DailyUpdated:2026-07-29

Shenzhen has expanded its unmanned delivery network with the launch of seven regular autonomous logistics routes in Dapeng, with two additional routes in the Shenshan Special Cooperation Zone expected to begin operation next week.

The expansion will bring Shenzhen’s unmanned delivery services to full coverage across all district-level areas and further scale up commercial applications of autonomous logistics technology.

The seven routes in Dapeng were jointly deployed by autonomous vehicle companies including Zelos RoboVan and Neolix, with logistics operators such as SF Express, YTO Express, JD Logistics and China Post providing last-mile delivery services.

Located between mountains and the sea, Dapeng has widely dispersed residential and industrial areas, making traditional delivery services challenging due to long travel distances and high costs for remote locations. The new autonomous routes were designed to address these local needs.

A route jointly operated by Zelos RoboVan and China Post uses autonomous delivery vehicles to handle daily parcel deliveries across areas including Kuichong, Baguang New Village, Zengwu Village and Gaoyuan Village. The vehicles are capable of operating on both major roads and narrow village lanes.

Another route, launched by Neolix and SF Express, connects Dapeng with neighboring Pingshan District. Using two autonomous vehicles, it becomes Dapeng’s first regular cross-district autonomous delivery route, providing stable transportation capacity for parcel deliveries between districts.
