New night cruises will be launched from Nan’ao’s Moon Bay in Dapeng during the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holiday, offering visitors a new way to explore the city’s coastline.
The “Dapeng by Sea” service will add two moon-viewing routes from Moon Bay, with departures at 6 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Yangchou Bay
The one-hour route travels from Moon Bay (月亮湾) to Yangchou Bay (洋畴湾) and Yougan Bay (柚柑湾) before returning, while the three-hour route extends to Dongpingzhou Island (东平洲岛), Jinsha Bay (金沙湾) and Shayuchong (沙鱼涌), passing several coastal landmarks along the way.
During the Mid-Autumn Festival, passengers on the routes can also enjoy a seafood meal while viewing the moon from the water.
Daytime cruises will operate on the same routes, allowing visitors to see Dapeng Bay’s coastline in daylight.

A glass-bottom boat.
Moreover, a new glass-bottom boat experience will also be available, giving passengers views of coral reefs and marine life through a transparent section of the vessel! The experience is particularly suitable for families with children and marine enthusiasts.
The cruises depart from Moon Bay Pier beside Moon Bay Square in Nan’ao. Visitors can book by calling 18127063881 or at the pier. Public buses including E11, 833, M274 and M232 stop at Nan’ao Moon Bay, which is within walking distance of the pier.
