Dapeng plans to develop six outdoor sports hubs over the next three years, tailoring each to local resources and development conditions to create complementary outdoor recreation spaces.

The six hubs will focus on different activities, including hiking, cycling, paddleboarding, sailing, surfing, diving and recreational fishing.

Baguang Outdoor Sports Camp: The area will focus on hiking, trekking and cycling, with plans to improve campsites, rest stops and rescue facilities while adding camping and coastal recreation services.

Xichong Paddleboarding Beach: The area will develop paddleboarding experiences, professional training and equipment rental services, creating a coastal water-sports destination suitable for different age groups.

Judiaosha Sailing and Windsurfing Town: Building on resources including Qixing Bay, the area will expand sailing training, event services and coastal leisure activities.

Dongxichong Surfing Hub: The area will add surfing service points and camps, as well as equipment rental, surfing clubs and themed accommodations.

Da'aowan Diving Base: Professional diving instructors and industry organizations will be introduced to support diving training, certification and competitions.

Dongshan Recreational Fishing Village: The area will combine recreational fishing with fishing-village culture, coastal tourism and seafood markets, while developing tackle shops, boat rentals and fishing competitions.

Dapeng also plans to build seven outdoor sports gathering points and rest stations, including two hiking hubs and five cycling stations, to improve services along its outdoor recreation routes.

The district plans to improve the Baguang Sliver Leaf Bay cycling loop and connect a coastal cycling route around the Dapeng Peninsula, with five cycling stations in Baguang, Xichong, Xinda, Egong Bay and Jinsha Bay.

Two mountain-bike parks are also planned in Xichong and Jiangwushan Mountain, further expanding Dapeng’s outdoor sports infrastructure.
