On Jan. 13, the administration of the Dapeng Peninsula National Geopark in Shenzhenannounced the closure of the “Wanglanggui” area, describing it as an undeveloped mountain zone with complex terrain and potential safety hazards.
In a statement posted on its official social media account, the park authority said the closure was implemented in accordance with regulations governing national natural parks. Visitors were urged not to enter or pass through the area without authorization, and to follow park rules by using only officially opened and designated routes.
Authorities warned that entering closed or undeveloped mountain areas could pose serious risks to personal safety.
