This administrative licensing applies to the registration of incorporation of a resident
representative office of foreign (region) companies with the approval of the
People’s Government of Guangdong Province and its authorized departments.
Acceptance requirements
Aresident representative office of a foreign (region) company may be incorporated when all of the following conditions are met:
1. A name for the office pursuant to relevant regulations is in place;
2. Operating premises and facilities compliant with relevant regulations are in place;
3. A chief representative and a representative pursuant to relevant regulations are in place;
4. Its scope of business complies with relevant regulations; and
5. Where the incorporation of a resident representative office of a foreign (region) company must be reported for approval in accordance with the law, administrative regulations and decisions of the State Council, and has been approved by the relevant licensing authorities.
