As dawn broke through the morning mist at 7 a.m. on March 15, the starting guns fired for a trail run in Dapeng New District. Participants surged forward from the starting line at the Qixi Bay Yacht Club, embarking on their journey around the Dapeng Peninsula.

Seven new holiday shuttle routes destined for Dapeng New District were launched March 1, bringing the total number of holiday routes to Dapeng to 15. These routes connect eight major areas, including Shiyan, Liantang, Bantian, and the Shenzhen-adjoining area of Huizhou, while passing through key transportation hubs such as Universiade Metro Station, Yangmei Metro Station, and Bantian Metro Station. All routes ultimately terminate in Dapeng, enhancing accessibility for tourists.

Dapeng New District received 878,000 tourist trips during the eight-day Spring Festival holiday, a 6.12% year-on-year increase. The New District's tourism revenue hit 633 million yuan (US$86 million), an 18.54% increase year on year, data from Dapeng's authority showed.
